Teacher Staff Mobility : General Principles

Staff mobility should be understood in a broader sense: mobility of body and mind, as a motor to the internationalisation of higher education institutions at all levels.

The Comenius Association facilitates staff mobility between the different member institutions in order to enhance the understanding of both the different European perspectives and teaching methods and the exchange of experiences in the field of teacher education.

Teachers have the possibility to carry out a staff mobility project in a partner institution by teaching (8 hours), participating actively in seminars or modules, exchange ideas and cooperate with foreign colleagues, etcetera, this for a period of one or two weeks.

Teachers who carry out a staff mobility project can benefit from a Socrates/Erasmus grant. For more information, contact the international office of your institution.
